Eastside Express Summer Camp
|
The Eastside Express Summer Camp, in its 19th season, has evolved from a small track club into a multi-faceted recreational program that serves the near eastside community. The free, drop-in program for elementary and early middle-school children has grown in recent years (95 children attended at least one segment last year) and campers may sign-up at the Marquette field.
The Eastside Express Summer Camp is funded (money raised at the Marquette Waterfront and Orton Park festivals) and coordinated by the Marquette Neighborhood Association in cooperation with Madison School Community Recreation.
